With an upcoming battle between Tyranids and Jungle Fighters in the deep jungles of Lapitar, I thought I'd showcase the scenery we'll be fighting over.
This nice creeping ivy was set up by my son Raish from Lichen. It isn't stuck there. It's just resting. He's cool.
The set-up represents an abandoned Manufactorum facility where the Adeptus Mechanicus have long since moved on... or been devoured.
Thats some sweet looking terrain!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you kindly good sir! I'm half way through a game on it now and I'm really enjoying the visuals.
DeleteAwesome scenery, everything looks like it belongs and looks like a realistic environment, not just a bunch of placed model buildings and plants. It's almost like the terrain in Dawn of War. I'd love to play on a table like this.
ReplyDeleteThank you! That's really nice to hear. That realism is exactly what I aim for. The visual feel of a game is very very important to me. And as for playing on the board, if you live in Dorset, England, you're welcome to come round!
DeleteThanks, Dorset is a little far to travel from Lancashire but I occasionally go to Falmouth to visit the kids Godparents, not sure the wife would agree to a detour though ;) Keep up the good work.
DeleteAppreciate youur blog post
